This tree almost died during the winter of 1997. Only the bottom 3 inches of the
trunk survived and I believe the die off was due to overwatering (I know shame
on me). This spring I'll be attempting to restyle the new branches and gin the
trunk. I'll get a picture of the restyle up as soon as possible.
